Are the rear leaf springs the same for 2wd as 4wd?

I have just purchased a 72 Jimmy with a 6" lift kit and I want to go back to stock height.

I will be listing the 6" lift/shocks/tires/wheels/brakehoses and steering changes in about three weeks as the vehicle is still in storage. I do not have pictures yet but will post them and do not know if it is a soft ride or blocked in the rear. I do know the PO had everything installed at Les Schwab.

Please let me know about the leaf springs for the rear. I have a set for the front and want to do the conversion as soon as possible.

Factory 2wd Blazers had trailing arms and coil springs. You can put the axle on top of the leaf springs if you don't want to swap in trailing arms or a custom rear suspension like a 4-link.

Contact Livrat if you are looking into doing a conversion. He's in the Seattle area and done a ton of conversions.

Well, first off, are you converting to 2wd, or just want to know if the 2wd leaf spring (some had them) would work for your 4x4 to get back down to stock ride height?

I am interested in that part, as there is a C20 here, and I am thinking the springs might be beneficial to have if they are stronger for my k5.

It is a 4x4 Jimmy. I think I needed to be more specific in my title. I wanted to know if the rear springs from a 2wd pickup were the same as a 4x4. The Jimmy has a 6" lift and I want it back to stock height. I have access to two front stock springs and am looking for two rear ones.

What would you be looking for for the lift stuff? I might be interested if it is rear springs and not blocks. I would be willing to trade my stock rear springs too. Of course, then I'll never fit my blazer in my garage...

I cant remember what the wheels look like, but I wanted to sell the whole thing as a package. It will be about three weeks before I get the rig home.
