Oil pressure gauge all the way up...
Hey guys, i swear i saw something like this like a week ago, and i cant find the thread, so sry for the repeat. I was drivin the truck home from work 2 days ago and noticed the oil pressure gauge was maxed out, not at 60, just all the way to the right, pointing horizontally to the left. I didn't see it happen so i don't kno what it did when it occurred. I was wondering what you guys think i should check first, the sender or the gauge? And how would i go about checking the sender anyway? Thanks...

Re: Oil pressure gauge all the way up...
yeah I think I remember that post your talking about. IIRC they said that to test if your gauge was working. unplug it from the sending unit and it should peg to the max. then plug it back in and it should be at near zero. if that worked then your gauge was working... I wonder if yours maybe got disconnected some how???
