My 67 build and I have a few questions
The suspension, steering, brakes and rear end are all new a completed brfore the truck was taken apart.
I will be doing the following before it goes back to the painter. Am I forgetting anything? 1. Cab/Bed/Radiator mounts from ECE 2. Radiator (4 row) from family friend 3. Electric fan specifically for the 67-72 from Old Air Products 4. Radiator upper and lower mounts -- factory radiator was a 3 row 5. Bolt in C-notch from CPP 6. Blazer tank kit from CPP 7. Hidden hitch from CPP 8. The truck will be bagged at some point and I recall that a large hole needs to be drilled somewhere. Can anyone tell me exactly where? I have dealt with ECE but not CPP. Is CPP gppd to deal with? Any other input on what needed to be done before it goes back to the painter?

Re: My 67 build and I have a few questions
Parts will be here in the next couple of days. Does anyone know what size and where the hole needs to be drilled for bagging at a later time?

Re: My 67 build and I have a few questions
Chassis is looking good!
As for CPP, do a search and you will find many unhappy people, from parts not fitting to very poor customer service. Not that ECE is perfect but of the vendors I have dealt with over the years, they rank at the top of the list as one of the best. As for drilling holes for the bags, it will depend on the style of bags. Typically the lower one just screws in like a stock spring. The upper mount to the frame can depend of if they are single or dual port bags. If single port, typically you enlarge the stock mounting hole for the air fitting and add holes on each side of that for the mounting flange on the bag. Spacing won't be known until you have it in hand.

Re: My 67 build and I have a few questions
Thanks guys. It looks like I will have to wait for the holes. Anything else that can be done now?

Re: My 67 build and I have a few questions
Many times a hidden hitch will not work with a rear mounted gas tank, might want to check into it! Great looking frame BTW.

Re: My 67 build and I have a few questions
Here is the Blazer tank installed. You can see the bands are in the way of some types of hitches. The Blazer tank may affect your hitch install.
Here is another shot with an aluminum-inum tank. Hope this helps you with deciding on the hitch and tank combo.

Re: My 67 build and I have a few questions
Got all the parts ordered and both CPP and ECE assure me that the blazer tank can be used with the hidden hitch. I bought the hitch from ECE and the tank from CPP. There are many people on this board that have both so I will get the parts and figure it out. I am having a bit of buyers remorse right now but I guess that will pass as I get closer to getting back on the road.

Re: My 67 build and I have a few questions
Made some progress. Ran into a problem with the track bar and the notch (more on that in the suspension section).
