New Shoes For the Suburban

Well it's been long overdue, but i finally got some new shoes (or 'skins' as we used to call 'em) for the Suburban since I intend to drive her a bit more this summer. And while I was at it I figured I'd just as well get the wheels re-powder coated since the tires were off. They aren't what is typically seen on the forum here, but I like 'em......and I don't mind being different.

After so many months of reading of everyones projects, builds and drivers I've been getting motivated and anxious to get some much needed work done on the Burb. It isn't much to look at yet, but I do enjoy driving it.

Thumbs up Re: New Shoes For the Suburban

I just bought a full set of those for my Camaro. I've had them a month and no complaints here. I usually run BFG's but figured I'd try'em out. I've been wondering what a set would look like on my truck also. I think they look good. And nice burb you got there. Wish I could find one around here.

Those look great! I run the same tires on my Nova. What is at the end of the center cap? It looks like stainless steel...

I like that look. The ralley style. Have you guys seen the bigger ones? I have seen them as big as 17's. I wonder what's the biggest size they have in that ralley style.

Nice burb!! Always wanted one...

Yep they're stainless. Just cut some circles and siliconed them in from the backside.

Thanks for the compliments guys
