Re: steering wheels f/s

More info on the black three spoke wheel please. What does it include and is it new? Does the side view of the hand grip show metal? Was it bolted to a factory column? Thanks

Re: steering wheels f/s

not new but very nice shape, the horn button is new,it includes everything you see,new button, the mouting collet, the horn spring, does need a couple screws, and yes you see a metal ring around the edge, it has one very small nick in the rubber, other than that great shape.
was told a early vette-camaro wheel

Re: steering wheels f/s

Thanks but I am going to hold out right now for one without the metal showing. I know corvette and camaro wheels where deep. That one your selling doesn't look that deep but It's hard to tell. Other than the metal showing that's the look and style I may go with. Thanks

Yes, your 3 spoke wheel is a Chevelle, Camaro, and Corvette wheel, no doubt about with owning a Chevelle, and over the years owning old vettes. Trevor

^ X2 ^

There are simular repros. But,factory wheels had the ring exposed on the edge. There are wooden wheels that go for big big bucks.

That red 4-spoke is an Olds? The same center would work on that as what`s on the 3-spoke,right?I sure am tempted...

Tim, I believe that your correct and that the same horn button would work on those 4 spokes as well.

The Truck Shop had them with or without the ring exposed and the depth of them seemed shallower than factory wheels. They had chevelle hubs on them to fit C10 trucks. Is there a measurement difference or was I going crazy from the heat at Carlisle this year?

Re: steering wheels f/s

I'm using the 3 spoke custom grip wheel & I've been told that the mounting hubs comes in 2 different diameters. Both fit any early GM column. However, the one on mine is 4" wide at the base and makes that extend about 1/4" wider onto the column. It extends out on the sides.

Someone told me sometime back that the Corvette hubs were wider than the Chevelle & Camaro ones. Don't know how true that is, but would like to find a narrow one.

Re: steering wheels f/s

U need a reproduction 1967-68 camaro hub. You can find them at Classic Enterprises and others, any place that sells Camaro or Chevelle parts. The 1969 hub is the wider one you have.

Re: steering wheels f/s

I may be interested in the red wheel. what diameter is the wheel and do you know what is needed to adapt to a 3-on-the-tree column?

If the rubber on the Comfort Grip three spoke wheel is not sticky I'll take it. Shipping to 71457?
