Used for a few thousand miles still looks like new. Not sure what exactly it fits, here's a link: http://shop.oreillyauto.com/productd...artNumber=7135

How would I tell if it's internally regulated? I know it doesn't fit on my Blazer with the short water pump brackets. It's bigger than the one on my Blazer also. It came off of a Chevy 350 with a long water pump.

If that's a v-belt, I'll take it! I'm trying out adding a second alternator in place of an AC compressor on a 250 motor..

Re: Alternator - Like New $40 Shipped

Oh yeah, to answer the question, a non-internally regulated alternator would have a wiring harness plug in addition to simply having a + terminal and maybe a - terminal (normally the mount is used as the ground). An internally regulated alternator is not stock, but simplifies your wiring quite a bit.

Hey, I'm talking like I know something! I'm pretty much a newbie, somebody correct me if I'm off.

Looking at your pictures I'm guessing this is an internally regulated unit. Am I right or is there an extra plug on there somewhere?

Patrick

It is a V-belt. I'm pretty sure it's internally regulated. I believe the internal regulated ones have a plug with horizontal connections like this: -- and the non internal have a vertical plug. I could be wrong though. I can take Paypal or money order just let me know.

Paypal is my preference, if you want to PM your email. I'm leaving work and won't be on the net overnight, but I can pay you in the morning. After that I'll send my complete address here in Texas.

Thanks!
Patrick
