springs only lowering

67-69 1/2 T
What can I expect w a springs only lowering kit? How deep can I go w/o C notching, axle flipping or lowered spindles? I've seen the above discussed but not spring only drops but they are offered by the suppliers.
I basically want to get rid of the nose bleed attitude but but not scrape bumpers/rockers. Quick n dirty stuff. On my fifties cars I just cold cut coils but in a truck I believe it would have a bone jarring ride after.

on the left side of the page it gives you an idea of what to expect after different mods.

Re: springs only lowering

From that I am thinking 4" rear and 2" front springs, I like a rake.
