Thread Mover

I generally start threads for upcoming events here because hardly anyone goes to Regions & Chapters. I know it took me a while to find it and I never go there. It's like a ghost town there. Anybody agree?

Re: Thread Mover

I check there at least weekly. There are lots of good meets where you can meet people you've know a long time, get a free meal, and maybe even trade or buy some truck parts or at least have another knowledgeable truck guy to help you spot stuff at a swap meet.

Re: Thread Mover

If you all start going there then there will be people there.
Now that you know it`s there, why not start using it?Nobody goes there because nobody goes there, right?Maybe if everybody goes there then everybody will go there.
I agree it`s worthless if nobody goes.

But,since this thread isn`t 67-72 GM Truck specific,I`m going to move this to General Discussion where it fits in better.

Re: Thread Mover

I agree with Kevin.

Most people dont have time to be spending a long while on the computer. Thats just the way busy life is today.
Why not leave his posts here... if nobody is interested in the post, it wont be on page one for more than a day; and if they are interested... then more people will see them.

Re: Thread Mover

Kevs,

i started a new thread yesterday inquiring as to how the horn button small parts load into the cancellation cam on a 67 chevy stepside p/u. Since you rebuild columns could you shed some light on this for me or have a diagram??

Re: Thread Mover

Guys it comes down to this. Things need to be posted in the proper areas.
In the same thought process the 47-59 boards are less frequented than 67-72. So why not just post all early year truck discussion on 67-72 as well. It would be a giant cluster, if allowed.

The forums are there due to demand. If they do not work out, they get removed. I know many people do not have time to go through the different forums... but if the posts were all in one or two forums you would never find what you wanted to read, in the short time you had to visit.

Sorry. So if I asked How many 67-72 trucks plan on going to this show? Then it would be 67-72 specific correct? Then it would not be removed from main Forumn? I have seen plenty of threads about events that were never moved. One example

Re: Thread Mover

No, shows and or events go in regions, so it would not make a difference. And as I replied to your PM, please use the report a post feature when you see something that is misposted. With 2k plus posts a day, we do tend to miss some.

Thanks
