Question need help with disc brake conversion

i have a 1967 1/2 ton c10 pickup and want to put 5lug disc brakes off a 1971 1/2 ton c10 on mine my question is it a simple swap or do i need to change ball joints , tie rod ends ect. for a 1971 truck all help would be greatly appreciated thanks leon

You will have to change the ball joints too. Swap the entire steering linkage from spindle to spindle too. It's a real fast swap that way.

If you don't want to spring the coin for the new 71 spec ball joints, just swap the entire 71 control arms onto your truck. That way you can reuse the donor ball joints.
