Vanity Mirror..what do you have?

Yeah, I know it's an odd question. I am putting together plans for an interior update. My wife has requested adding a vanity mirror on the passenger side. Any further explanation needed?

I am looking for something that appears OEM. What do you have, or what have you seen?

Ken, I'm not sure if they're the same size, but our era of Cutlass and Regals are plenty to be had in junk yards. Maybe even a Delta 88?

Re: Vanity Mirror..what do you have?

Here's an NOS one I found. The ad says the holes are prefabbed in the visor. I haven't checked to see, but that would be cool for a non-lighted-

Re: Vanity Mirror..what do you have?

later model Burbs/Blazers (88-91) had them from the factory. Not sure if all trim levels had them, but some did for sure. They look identical otherwise to the earlier years.

Re: Vanity Mirror..what do you have?

My 84 cab from my parts truck has red interior and a vanity mirror on the pass side visor. The holes are pre fabbed into the visor and the mirror has two small pushing molded into the back of it that push into the holes in the visor. I don't have any pictures at the moment, but will try and get some tonight or tomorrow. Its non lighted, but at least my wife has a mirror.

Re: Vanity Mirror..what do you have?

Ken,
The ones Turbo85GMC posted are the ones Jeff is talking about. They also have a "extended" portion to block more rays.

I looked in my stash and I cant find the other ones (I think I organized to well) but high trim levels on the later models had mirrors just no cover.

Sure, send it to me.

So the one I posted is probably correct for my 77? Since my passenger visor is in great shape and I just got a mint drivers side from Jeff, I want to keep the same style visor.

I believe I will pick up this non-lighted NOS unit and go that route-

Re: Vanity Mirror..what do you have?

Yeah I was worried when I saw the thread title, I thought he might be getting
a little metrosexual and putting on guyliner in the truck.

Don't women carry there own mirrors in their purse?
