Has anybody seen or done a lowered 4X4 1/2 ton

I am looking for any sugestions on lowering a 4X4 ? I know the rears are the same, just wondering if the front axle will be an issue? Or if anybody has done it?

I like the look of the slightly lower trucks, probably no more than 2", but my Suburban will probably see duty as a tow rig at sometime, and as such, might get off the pavement at some point.

Can`t do it with solid front axle and motor directly over it.My white`72 is about as low as you can go.

How high is it compared to a stock 2wd? I am not looking to hit speed bumps as I go over them, I just want it to look like a stock 2wd or an inch or two lower? I gues I could go with lower profile tires and a little bigger wheel (18"), I just don't want to look like I stole it from a Hip Hop video shoot.
