Sons S-10

OK I went and bought my son this truck for his first vehicle. He has football practice all summer + ROTC camp plus he got a job working with a local landscaper for the summer who is a friend of ours. He is going to work him whenever he can around his football schedule.
Ok it's a 2000 S-10 with 97000 miles on it. I gave 4900.00 for it and it's loaded. electric windows, locks, mirrors, cruise Am/FM cass. and I put a six pack cd player in it last night I had out of my wifes old caddy.
It has new hoses, radator, cap tires brakes and all the service records. The guy took really good care of it I think by his records.
I want to know if anybody has any parts they don't need as far as fixing it up.
Tail lights, wheels & tires anything to personalize it for him. I know the picture aren't that great but I will be adding more as we work on it.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Nice truck. Order a free catalogue from www.lmctruck.com.

You can find ZQ8, Camaro and Vette wheels to bolt on.

Tint the windows!!

Re: Sons S-10

Thanks guy's. I have been checking craig's list for wheels. Will any Camaro wheels fit as far as mounting goes, I know backspacing and width will be a problem but any camaro wheel or the likes will work right.I'll get better pictures once we get it all cleaned up. I put some vent shades on it today.
I don't think I'm going to tint the window's just yet I want him to see everything good for now maybe later.
He say's it's perfect as is. I give that a week.

Those are pretty sweet, but dont forget about the $200 worth of wheel spacers you will need. They are backspaced like FWD cars.

Thanks Corn...
This is what I was trying to find out yesterday. Just because they are camaro wheels doesn't mean they will fit. Correct?
Yea I don't want no spacers.
Can anybody give me some wheel idea's on which ones will fit without anything else to do.

I have early aluminum Z28 wheels on mine & they bolted on just fine. The front ones rub if you turn too sharp but did bolt right on. IROC wheels bolt right on too. Basicly any wheel with a 4 3/4 bolt pattern will go on your S10 as long as the back spacing isnt too radical one way or the other.
