Sport Bumper
I'm thinking of picking up a new sport bumper for Ol' Yeller because they're hard to find around here, but I was wondering if anyone has any opinions on the LMC ones or if there is any cheaper ones around?

lmc are way too expensive..i think they are like 179...capt kaos are a good price got mine like 2 months ago from captkaos. cant be any happier....

LMC has two versions. There is the standard crash parts bumper that sucks and is basically a rust prone chrome plated beer can. Then there's the premium bumpers which are very close to stock thickness and the chrome while not as good as 1970's chrome it does hold up pretty well. Keep a good coat of wax on it and it will be fine.
Can't beat the original ones though. I threw a bent original out on the slab outside at my friends barn. Years later I walk up to it, wipe the dirt off with my finger and the chrome is still nice. Nothing like that 1960's and 1970's chrome.

I got my bumper brackets and bumper from Captkaos and couldn't be happier with the products.

i am in the process of switching mine over and was surprised how nice of a bumper i got at a swap meet for $25. the chrome is as good as my 30 YO front bumper. i am a little worried about the brackets, since mine is off a blazer and it had that funky capped frame.
