Re: window unit

A few years ago I saw an old conversion van with a window unit rigged into the back of it, they had a bumper hitch platform with a generator to run it. Needless to say it was

At least that one makes sense. Some people use conversion vans for camping of a sort.

That would be me...but I tough the heat, or start the van and use the built in AC if it's too hot.

Re: window unit

I don't even know where to start with this one.

Isn't there medicine for people who strap window units to a car.

You should do it poke, but strap it to the back beer window, not the side.
You will need a big inverter too.

Re: window unit

Mount the generator in the bed and duct the window unit to sliding window. Start it up, light it up and chill out.

Re: window unit

Hey ,

With the amount of $$ it takes to buy a window unit and an invertor big enough to run it, you could fix a stock system and it would work much better.
