Trucks hangin around here.. Opposites must attract.

It would seem so.... Hear is a Blazer and a Short Fleet that are opposite of each other..
Blazer 4X4.... Shortbox 2X4.
Blazer lifted... Short Box Lowered.
Blazer Big Wheels.... Shortbox Stock Size.
Blazer Exhaust exit behind rear wheels... Short Box strait out the rear.
Blazer Custom Grill.... Short Box Stock Grill (Although it has a painted insert)
Then finaly the 67, 1 ton Stepside with a box that goes on forever...lol (9') Totaly bone stock!!

Yep, that would be the one... Here is just the dammage two one door and fender. After hours of work, and lots of parts he can now enjoy it for a couple of years before he has to paint it again.... WES

Hi Wes!

Thanks for posting that pic of the stepside. Interesting choice on the lower molding with a stepside that doesn't transfer to the rear bed/fenders.

aloha,
Jay

Ya, I questioned that when he brought the truck in. It is custom equipped so I guess that the moldings are stock. Sure looks different though.. WES

Re: Trucks hangin around here.. Opposites must attract.

Im coming to Olympia in Aug to meet my Fiancee's parents. We should be there around the third weekend. Anything going on show or swap meet wise then? If not I at least want to stop by the shop and look at parts. Her brother races cars and owns a helicoptor pilot training school in Olympia. Im sure he would like to come along.

Nice nice and nice.I think they can all get along just fine.
I was always told the mouldings were deleted on stepsides. But,there have been some questionable trucks, like this one.I have an ad that shows a long Stepside with cab mouldings.

One thing in common, they both look to have fiberglass covers on back. Both look sharp too!
