shift linkage question

this may be a dumb one here but you never know to you ask. the billet linkage kits you can buy from lokar..ect , do you need any of the oem brackets to make it work? i have all of the oem stuff to convert to auto but, i hear the aftermarket stuff is way better. thanks

All you need is the steering column and the transmission. They use none of the original parts.
