Re: Lower control arms

what year is your front suspension?
I will have to take pics this evening....

here is one I found online from a dropmember install
notice the hole/recess in the cross shaft?
there is a pin on the cross member that goes in it to keep the arm in place

Re: Lower control arms

I don't understand what you are asking, exactly?
there should only be one set of holes where the u-bolts go...

Re: Lower control arms

The saddle the arm fits in will have a rivet head that the hole in the shaft fits in. If that is the question..

Re: Lower control arms

Are you asking if the shaft goes to the front, rear, or center?
The locator hole in the shaft (like the pic I posted) determines that location of the arm.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

It also helps keep your thread up top in the thick of things.

Joe asked a few key questions & there's been a delay in your response. It's hard to offer you more suggestions until we hear from you.

People are (were) trying to help you solve your problem. But they can't help you when you don't give them the feedback they need. While you were away, there was some 'hamming' going on but as stated, it also kept your thread (and important questions) up top.

Too bad you feel the way you do. This place can be a great benefit to the truck enthusiast.

Bigpimp like it was shown the locator holes go on the pins, Then the ubolts go around the cross shaft up into the crossmember to bolt.
