So much orange...
When I bought my truck I thought whoever had done the paint job had just done a poor job of masking because there was overspray on the frame. After removing the bed and powerwashing it. I see that it wasn't overspray. Everything under there was painted orange. Everything. Frame, rearend, springs, trailing arms, even the driveshaft. Hmm.

Re: So much orange...
Well, if nothing else, those cab corners look to be in nice shape. Cool project too.

Orange is a nice color. Why wouldn't you want to make it all orange?

Re: So much orange...
Brilliant! Why didn't I think of that? I put a Chevy Engine Orange motor in a 516 Orange truck and I painted the frame semi-gloss black. How mundane of me. I guess I'll just never have that genius that real artists have.

The bench seat is purple btw. Maybe that will a little more insight into the previous owner's thought process.

Re: So much orange...
Good thing you got to it before it was tubbed, back-halved, fuel-celled with skinny tires and a stock 350
