Steering Column

PHP Code:
Greetings,
Having spent the day looking over our new rideI found that the steering shaftat the steering wheel has to be replaced.  Whoever installed the aftermarket steering wheel cross-threaded the retaining nut.  Metry to fixbut the shaft is already beyond help.
So without spending $$$$ on a new columnwhat will fit?  This is a 3-on-the-tree.
Thanks
Victor

The shaft from any 67-72 three on the tree truck should fit. I just changed the one in my '71 4x4 for the same reason. You don't have to remove the whole column but it has to come out from the bottom. I was able to get mine out without dropping the steering box. You may not be that lucky with a 2 wheel drive truck.
