Driveshaft question
How do you check to see if your rear driveshaft is to short?I have an 89 Blazer with a 4" lift, and my driveshaft has fallen off twice in the last 3 months.I didn't think that having a 4" lift would be a problem, but I don't know where else to look.

Re: Driveshaft question
sounds to me like you've already found out 2 times...
I think you might benefit from visiting www.highangledriveline.com Seems to me, the shorter the vehicle, the less lift it takes to start running into problems like these, but Im no expert. |

Re: Driveshaft question
its too short. You need to have it lengthened.

Re: Driveshaft question
my 83 1 ton did that. turned out a broken center pin on my leaf springs allowed enough movement when i was all twisted up to let it fall out. You couldnt tell by any rub marks as it was always in the mud when it happend. when on flat gound the driveshaft length was perfect
