Hey guys. I know this is a little off of the normal truck talk. I've decided to bag my 70 coupe de ville. What bags would you reccomend 2600, 2800, or what would be best for this application? I have little to no air suspension experience, so any and all help would be much appreciated. I'm not looking for a super fast setup to dance the car with, just a simple fbss setup that doesn't take forever to raise and lower. What kit or components would you reccomend?

I would call Kurt at Autocore aka the King of Caddys. Im sure he has the partS you would need to bag it or could handle the install.

Thanks for the reply. I'l give him a call and see what parts he has avail. I definatey want to do the install myself, since i've wanted tolearn about air ride for some time now.

Definitely use the 2600 (7") bags. It will ride great with these. Thats what I used on my bro's 68.

does anybody have pics of the rear upper brackets? i have to do one this week and everyone i asked doesnt have a clue

We usually use a 5.5" upper cup. 3" tall works great.

ok. but is it a standard cup or is it offset? does it have a bolt in or is it a floater?

heres mine, has angled and offset front cups on slam xs-7s. lays out and and maxes out at 100 psi. sold it but the new owner wants me to finish the rear asap. chassis should be the same 70-96 fullsize rwd gm

The way I did it was cut the upper spring mount out and slide the entire cup up through the hole. Then I tacked it where I could from underneath. Then I fully welded it in from the top.

sounds like too much work. i guess ill just weld on a threaded stud.
