not trying to jump on your case but where are your gussets? i would defiantly add some reinforcement.

It's one of the many ways to lower your front end. You cut the frame near the firewall, and raise the motors/front suspension section of the frame up, effectively lowering the truck.

What is pictured is the front part of the frame rails that have to be cut and lowered to get your bumper back down where it belongs.

Is that done? Before everyone piles on, let me say that it doesn't appear to be boxed or even plated completely.

I am no expert at a frame Z, but I think you need a bit more support.

I dont see the fronts being plated but the rear section at least looks plated inside and out...

Ill post some pictures soon of the whole truck. Engine is out getting rebuilt.i got edelbrock polished intake,holley street avenger truck carb,polished water pump,chrome everything,new clutch and flywheel,3 inch z frame is done,shaved firewall done,flush mounting a smaller brake booster on firewall. Soon to come shaved rain gutters,new front fenders,core support,short bed,back halfed,four link, full bagged laying frame on 22s should be done early november

why not plate the inside? woud look alot cleaner wouldnt it? plating the inside and then boxing it should be plenty strong and be alot more pleasing to the eye.
