Re: Back from the middle east!!!

Welcome back... From a Vietnam era vet... And thanks for what you all are doing over there. It is much appreciated by the majority of us even though it doesn't seem like it from the media reports.

Are you going back or here to stay?

Twenty five days is a good start on your project. But, it probably won't be enough. I've been on mine for 20 years and the older I get the harder it is to get fired up. So, do as much as you can while your young!

Re: Back from the middle east!!!

I remember PMing you, where in Cypress are you?

I work part time, so, on my days off I don't mind coming to help if your close.

If you need some heavy lifting man power, I have a few friends that love to work on cars as well, but I'm the only 67-72 dude.

Just recently read "A Table in the Presence", man what an account of some of the first troops (Marines in this case) to reach Baghdad.

From the pics, i see Christmas came VERY early in your part of TX.

Re: Back from the middle east!!!

Welcome back, looks like you have plenty of things to play with. I did the same thing when I was in Iraq/Kuwait. When I finally got back it was like Christmas, empty boxes everywhere.... I had forgotten what I had ordered.

Right off the top: "Thank you for your service!"

If I were a few thousand miles closer, I'd be there with you & your truck like "white on rice, & dots on dice."

Enjoy your "time off"
