Re: Bag install for 69 front
Nice truck!
I suggest you search around in the suspension section. There are quite a few members on here that are running bags.

Re: Bag install for 69 front
Ray, what drop did the '69 have before the rear bags?
Search through several of the threads in the suspension section as lolife99 mentioned and you will be set. Even in some of the build pages (sub forum under the 67-72 Message Board) will have several install threads for you to read through as well.

Re: Bag install for 69 front
Are you keeping the drums up front? I suggest you upgrade to a later front suspension that includes disc brakes.
As far as adding bags, it's pretty simple. You remove the coils and ad mounting plates up top. You can use cups on bottom, or explore other options if you want to get lower.

N2TRUX-
Are those plates from *****************? Looks like a good fit. Did you just use drop shocks or are you running different brackets too? Thanks

Re: Bag install for 69 front
Everything on my truck is from Air Ride Technologies. The shocks are shorter heavy duty fluid shocks with stock brackets.

Re: Bag install for 69 front
I just went though this and the best way is to cup the lower A arms 2 3/4" works perfect and gives a great ride and stance...
spraybomb has a great post on how to do it but it's basicly a 8"X23/4" piece of pipe a piece of flat stock and you cut out the lower spring pocket and weld in the pipe.... and the monroe 5257 works great for the drop
