Just put some new wheels and tires on the 6Duece and was wondering you guys thought about them. They are 15x8 Wheel Vintiques smoothies with some 255/70R15 Diamondback tires with a 3 1/2" white wall.

There was some 15x10 rally wheels with 295/60r15 tires all around. too phat for me. so went with something more classic retro. i mean come on vette tires all around... rear ok but front was hard as hell to turn with that phat of a tire. i love my truck now.... not bad for 2g's huh?

Hey guys! thanks for the comments. I love this truck! I got a hell of a deal on it. New Mexico is a treasure trove of old trucks and cars. There is actualy a 59' for sale as we speak but not sure how much.. I fsomeone is interested i can find out. Body looks straight but needs paint. Let me know. I know the rules for sales but its not mine. Howver i will join to show my support for this site as i love to read your builds and everyone seems so cool.

Well so far i have about $3500 into her but i plan on doing a full restore on her in the future keeping it original. I doubt i will do any custom stuff to it. I just love the way she is now. There is diamond plate in the bed over the original wood so i plan on doing a oak floor and very minimal body work is needed. Gotta love the southwest for the rust issue. She has a little rust on the drip rails and some bubbles on the front fender but other than that the body is straight. To answer the question on how much i am going to spend i would say that depends on the wife but little by little there really isnt a budget.
