Custom A/C for 69' ?

I do not have an a/c cab for my 69 nor am i goin to look for one, but i do want to install an a/c and i know ive seen somewhere where they make custom a/c's to fit in ur classic with custom air vents and all, can anyone help me with this, give me a website or anythin....everything i seem to find is replacement a/c that go in place of an existing a/c cab and thats not what i want, if u have any info on this it would be much appreciated thanks.

check out vintage air. i think they make kits that go under the dash

Vintage Air has a "surefit system" that uses a factory center vent (above the radio) and either factory vents on the sides or their own which can be provided. It looks factory inside the cab, but goes in just fine in non-air trucks.

try Classic auto air. they make a kit that can look factory on the inside of your truck. If you go to their site, you can download the install instructions. In the instructions will come a template to cut the dash, and use factory vents. I have used their products several times and have been very satisfied. I have not installed on in our trucks though.

see i checked both those websites and found the systems that replace previous systems that existed and do not work anymore but i didnt see any that went in a non a/c cab or i didnt realize the one where u have to cut to make it fit, ill have to look at it again thanks

The Vintage Air surefit system has two part #s

74067-LCU-A is for non A/C cabs
74167-LCU-A is for factory A/C cabs

I didn't see this listed on their catalog page, but it is on their pricing sheet.

I personaly advise using the option of factory A/C controls instead of the non-air controls.
