Re: keep it or scrap it
That looks good but i'm with everyone else i wouldn't of rounded it either. I had a 1978 tubbed stepside and wish i still had it.

Re: keep it or scrap it
Stay the course, and if you don't like it when it's done, sell it and buy another. Let the next owner worry about what to do with it. I cringe when I hear the word "scrap" used in context with these trucks.

Re: keep it or scrap it
I would see if I could sell that parts you were thinking of doing away with, or just find someone that has a fleetside bed and wants a stepside and trade them.
The truck looks like a good project.

Re: keep it or scrap it
I'd roll with it. It looks like it could be cool and unique. If you don't like it when you're finished, maybe you can sell it and help pay for a new bed?

Re: keep it or scrap it
I'd say keep going with it. You can always get a fleetside later, no loss. There's something I like about it and something I don't but I don't know what they are and would like to see it all finished. I do like the caddy lights. Keep going man.

Re: keep it or scrap it
I think you should keep it. I have never seen another done like it. I think it has the potential to be wicked.

Re: keep it or scrap it
finding a good straight short fleet with the dual tanks wouldnt be the easiest thing either I dont think..... If you dont like it, then get another box and swap your fenders onto it...
