Is there anywhere else to get a factory ac hose beside lmc, early classics or year one, redone ac last year and found out hose hace a hole in it. Trying to get it fixed on a budget.

Re: Factory Ac hose

I usually see them at junkyards. Also if it is just the hose that is damaged call Napa or some heavy equipment part store. You should be able to find a shop to replace the rubber hose.

Re: Factory Ac hose

Some where that sells parts for larger construction equipment. Caterpillar, John Deere, some over-the-road truck places. Many of them have the tools to "crimp" new hoses for onto old lines. Most of the time they are just high pressure air or hydraulic lines but they should be able to help with an AC hose. If they can't help you they should be able to point you in the right direction.

Re: Factory Ac hose

Take your originals to a hose shop and have some new ones made up. You do not want to get used ones as the rubber has deteriorated after 40 yrs and will just cause you more problems by contaminating your system.
