Re: Clutch rod
Which rod? Surprised LMC doesn't have it. There's a lot of vendors on this site that may be able to help. Either call them or email them..

Re: Clutch rod
I might have the one you need. Is it the one that attaches to the pedal and goes thru the firewall?

Re: Clutch rod
They are not the same. The z bar, clutch rod through the firewall and the frame bracket are different for a 6 cylinder. If he doesn't have one I just converted mine to a v-8 and I have them.

Re: Clutch rod
Just curious if this is any kind of a conversion? I went from 250 inline 6 to a BBC. Had to relocate my Z bar on the frame and modify the existing rod....Now that I think about it, not even sure I used the stock one.

Re: Clutch rod
I also had to cut and relocate the Z shape of the bell crank. All easy stuff to do!

Re: Clutch rod
....not a conversion yet, just got a rod that the end is just about to let go. Going to try and convert to 350tpi & 5 speed out of an '85 z28 when i start the floors etc. In a few weeks.
