Had to sell it....
Not my truck. But my 327 I've been working on and planning to put in my truck. I finally got the motor running good and was ready to drop it in the old 66. Then I found that I have cracked a head on the 350 in my z28 and it started to burn oil real bad as the valve guides and seals were shot. So in order to afford a new set of heads I had to sell the 327. I guess having a V8 in my truck is just not meant to be right now. At least the 292 thats still in it runs like a champ.
Here's a vid of it finally running. Dropped it into my now motorless z28 in order to show it runs to sell.... ![]()

Re: Had to sell it....
Jeeze man. Sorry you had to get rid of it. Why didn't you just drop that into the car and keep it in instead of the 350?

Re: Had to sell it....
Because the block is the original LM1 350 to the z28. It's also got alot of nice high performance goodies in it. Built for bracket racing. So the 350 is well worth keeping. I can find another v8 for the truck. It'll just take some time.

Re: Had to sell it....
Sorry to hear you had to sell it. That would have been sweet in your truck. Oh well like you said it wasn't meant to be right now. Another will come along.
