Thumbs down a tree branch took out my top last night

we had a pretty good wind storm last night, and one of the branches landed on the passenger side of my top. It's pretty bad, it broke both of the passenger windows and really did a number on that side of the top, my friend thinks he can fix it(yeah right), but I rather find a new top. If anyone has any leads on a single or double wall let me know please. btw the rear hatch is still good, so one without a rear hatch would be perfect. I was also considering getting a soft top, but was wondering how well it sealed compared to a hardtop, any comments from members with softtops year round? it could have been worse though, 3 weeks ago the gto would have been sitting there. I'd rather have a fiberglass top that I can replace than a busted up gto. thanks for any help or leads

My neighbor tells me he knows of a "secret spot" in eastern Washington where a guy has 5 good tops laying in a field. I don't know where it is though. Next time I talk to him, I'll ask him about it, but I really don't know if he can tell the difference between a blazer top and a truck canopy.

I think you should look into getting a soft top though. They are great in the summer. Your more than welcome to take a close look at my top if you want. I'm just off of Juanita-Woodinville. I have the old Kay-Line soft top. It is very handy in summer.

As far as the hatch goes, If you thinking about selling it, let me know, I may be interested. My hatch is trashed. I've actually never put the hard top on my truck before.

I'll let you know what my neighbor says. Sorry to hear about your top, good luck in the hunt.

thanks bouncytruck let me know if your friend turns up anything. If I do get a soft top, i'll let you get the hatch. I'm hoping to get a spare carrier from k5krazie this weekend so maybe we could meet up.
