Exclamation 85 to 84 and vice versa compatibility

I have a chance to pick up a '84 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup (according to the ad, haven't seen it yet in person) and I was wondering if everything's interchangable between the trucks and what might not be. Both this truck and my truck have a 305 v8 and auto. As of right now i do see why everything won't interchange. Any input on this is greatly appreciated.

Say a prayer for me to get this truck....i need it!

most everthing should, but as we have found out in the past.. there are so many little discrepeces (man i tore that one up) in these model trucks you cant always say for sure... but you should be good to go.. the only thing i can think of right now might be the intrument bezel.. but not sure when the wiper control location was changed....

Well, I was kinda hoping drivetrain wise....engine trans rearend, suspension.....my gauges are pretty good and if i was gonna do that i'd switch the whole dash and the bench seat probably.....I hoping to take that truck and my truck put them into the garage and make one good reliable truck (i have engine and trans probs with my truck) and have one pretty stripped truck and a couple shelfs worth of extra parts for the good truck.

Still can't get a hold of the guy selling the truck must be a 2nd shifter guess i'll have to call in the morning.

Ok....I was also wondering...would I be able to change the rear window if the '84 has a soild glass window to my sliding glass window from my '85?
