S10 AC System in an 81+?

Anyone here running an S10 AC system in their 81+ pickup? I've got a K5 blazer I am converting over to diesel, and the factory AC assembly on the firewall sits right where my turbo needs to be. I've heard rumours of people installing the S10 system where everything is tucked away a whole bunch better and leaves room for my turbocharger.

Any pics or advice would be great!

Thanks,

Russ

Aftermarket A/C systems are available. The systems bolt up under the dash.

Re: S10 AC System in an 81+?

I've heard all you need to do is use the airbox that's in the engine compartment...supposedly you use everything from your truck...you just have to mount the s10 airbox up to the firewall...I was going to turbo my 6.2, and I still may, so that's why I've researched it...

Chuck.

Hmm... Interesting! Sounds like a trip to the wrecking yard may be in order

About $1500 last time I checked on an install by a shop. You can buy the components and install it yourself.
