Close up pics of front and back window trim

Am I correct that the front and rear windshield on our trucks had both a plain back rubber trim as well as a chrome trim that went around the window and windshield?

If so do they all work on all years?

anyone have pics of the differences? Trying to decide which way I may want to go with it.

Re: Close up pics of front and back window trim

There is standard window rubber that has no trim that was available 67 to 72.
There are also two kinds of chrome trim (with correct Delux gaskets) for the front window and back (large) window. Earlier chrome has deeper back sides, (67-68) while the later trim is shallower on the back side.

So the tricky part is to make sure you have the correct gasket for the trim you have. Once you have correct gasket for the trim, yes, you can use either trim for any of the 67-72 truck (minus 67 small back window as back trim for the 67 small window was not an option.)

That help?

It does a bit, except I have no trim, so I am trying to decide which one looks the best and have no idea which ones I have seen.

any cab can take any trim once you buy the right gasket right? cause Ill be purchasing my window and trim together

Yes, that's the stainless trim which fits into a channel on the custom rubber window seal. The standard black seal does not have a channel to accept the stainless trim.

any help?
