Lightbulb shortening my lwb

I know I'm not the only one here that feels the long bed on our trucks are too long and the short beds are too short.....I am seriously thinking of doing a semi-long bed.....but I'm just wondering if anyone here has seen this or has any pics of this idea.

I get all kinds of crazy ideas, but what is some body took a longhorn & mounted a 8' box, then slide the cab back 6"......& stretched the front clip? I saw a 57 belair with the nose/frame stretched, & man did it look sweet! Dare to be different, thats what the sport is all about......
