Wiw?

Lots of thought has gone into this decision, and I'm close to posting my truck for sale. Here's the specifics:
1972 matching numbers w/protecto plate
Rebuilt~500 mi:
Engine
Transmission
Carburator
Steering Column

New bearings and seals:
Transfer Case
Rear End

New windshield and master cylinder

P.O. Painted it

One little spot repaired on edge of the passenger side quarter where it
meets the rocker.

EVERY NUT AND BOLT CAME OUT WITH OUT FORCE.
99.5 rust and rot free.

Lots more, just wanted to get started....

Re: Wiw?

looks pretty nice to me but inperson can be different if the pictures are a true representaion of the truck I would say $15K would be a good price maybe more.

Re: Wiw?

I'd guess in the $18K-$22K range, but a lot depends on the economy in your area.

Re: Wiw?

The problem is what it's worth vs what you can sell for. There is a 2 wheel drive roadster near me that is super badass just needs paint and interior to finish and is easily worth 25K he's got that alone into the drivetrain and frame and airbag work anyway it's been for sale for 18K forever and it's still sitting there.

Aim high then just be wiling to barter if it doesn't sell after a few weeks.

if that 's the truck I think it is, that 2wd roadster actually belongs to a board member's father. It's a nice truck, but that fact that it's undrivable makes it a tough sell.

He is right, what it's worth can often differ from what someone will pay.

Advertise nationally for a gem like that. I'd start high with the price if you have the luxury.

Re: Wiw?

I sold this on e-bay for $17,000.00 almost two years ago, maybe it'll help you figure out an asking price.

Best of luck selling it, if you go that route.
