Can anybody out there help me with a horn that does not want to work. It was shorting out on screw that ataches the blinker control. I have stopped that and now I have new horn components but any way that I try to put that together it shorts across and sounds the horn. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Sounds lame I know but can anyone help. problem is on a 71 Cheyenne

mine does the same thign i unpluged the horn relay no more horn tho...

Yes I am disconnected at the relay as well. Just cannot Imagine what I am doing wrong on the install of the button kit. Let me know if you figure something out and I will do the same. Hopefully someone will come along that has already figured and let us both know.
