Leaky cab

My cab has a leak! I cant figure out where! Hepl me please!
The water is pooling around the lower foot well area and drops of water from their straght across the floor to the hump. Theirs not alought but its a little annoying. Thei was rust around the inner cowl corners area that i fixed. When i did it there was no sign or rust above the blower motor area , same area on the other side looked fine to. I also ran some water down thair and nothing. It is summer so this probably wouldnt make a difference but i dont have and insulation on my floor just the rubber mat.
If anyone has anyother suggestions that would be great.

might want to look around the drip rail and see if it coming through at top of windshield. the old seam seal in there is bad to get briddle and let water in which causes rust dont ask me how i know

Yep, water can come in from the drip rail, it is a pretty forgotten area.

On my '67 it comes in from around the windshield because of the old seal is pretty hard and does not seal well.

You might also take the cowl off and check the seams there, don't forget the wiper motor area.

It's most likely the windshield; if you look at the corners on the dash top at the w/shield (bottom of pillars), you'll see a drain hole on each side for the glass that leaked when the truck was brand new!

Is that inside the cab? So basiclly it would be leaking through the old seal and down that hole?
I also just did the drip rail sealer.

Inside the cab, yes, bottom corners of windshield. This is part of a "drainage" system, leaky windshield rubber drains through dash holes to the floor, then drains through convoluted channels stamped in the inner rocker(if you look under your truck you'll see some vertical ribs in the inner rocker). This "system" REALLY contributes to rusty rockers.

How does it get through the floor to the inner rocker. If im understanding right you mean the drain holes for the rockers?

There is no sealant between the rocker and cab floor, there is space enough left for water to pass; if you cut a rocker off for replacement you'll see. This is why alot of super clean trucks have rusty rockers. I have a '72 2wd Blazer project that shows signs of the left rocker rotting from the inside out, otherwise it's rust free.

mine was leaking from right above the kickpanel. there is a seam where the rounded portion of the cowl meets the rounded portion of the upper kickpanel. you may want to check this area to make sure the sealer is still in there. the pic shows the passenger side, but the driver side is the same.

this allowed water to enter into the channel that is behind the dash at the bottom, and drip all the way across.

Its weird because theirs no sign of water dripping down from anywere just a strait drop to the floor.

it can be tough narrowing it down sometimes. i read you replaced the seam seal in your drip rail, you probally can cross that one off. all good advise like stated above in previous posts. lots of knowledge here. best of luck
