racing harness

my seat belts suck like they latch together by those clippy key chain things and the seatbelt on the drives side has bolts going through it to keep the past owners preferred size lol. So my my questions are how many of you guys have racing harnesses and can i see some pics...also can you put a baby seat in with a racing harness thanks and thats all

Re: racing harness

nothing against your truck, but why go through all the BS to put harness' in, when your cab is rotted to he!!, I'd say just got get a set of seatbelts and throw em in, it'll save you money and effort
just my 2 cents

Re: racing harness

yeah but theres no way to replace the a pillar thats cheaper than swapping cabs. was trying to say if you plan to swap cabs at some point then you have to redo the harness' because I'm not sure, but don't harness' bolt to a roll bar? plus why do you need harness'? good replacement seat belts would do the trick and cost ALOT less, harness' cost 4 times as much as seat belts. but hey do what you want with it I'm just trying to save ya some $$$

Re: racing harness

Be careful when mounting racing style seat belt without a weld/blot-in harness bar. The lap belt part of the harness can be bolted into the stock floor locations on most applications. The dangerous part is when the shoulder harness is mounted directly down the floor section behind the seat. If I remember right shoulder harness must be mounted with no more than a 20 degree angle. Shoulder harness mounted to the floor can cause severe spine compression in case of an accident.
