Re: Original 31000 original 71 cheyenne

I'd dump all kinds of line X or something in that bed to cover up all that rust!!!!!!

Holy cow....where did you find that? Was it listed, parked with a sign or did you just approach the owner? Most of my awesome scores are because I just walked up and asked my favorite question: "hello there....what's the future of that vehicle?"

Bought my truck parked along some guy's house.

I don't think so. I think he has kids and that's where the board name came from. He jacked that senior citizen.

lol...all in fun

Re: Original 31000 original 71 cheyenne

Hi Guys thanks for the ribbing, The older gentleman with the gun to his head is ED he actually had this truck in last sundays classifieds in the local paper 1 owner low miles original. I have 3- 71-72's already didnt need anymore but being the 67-72 freak I am I had to call and see this original, so called and went to see it , ED purchased truck at madisonville KY dealership in 71 for $4100.00 he was insurance salesman and had company vehicle so that explaned low miles when I crawled under and all cab braces, cab corners, rockers, were original even under battery was rust free that is very uncommon in our part of the country started talking to ED he said most of its life it carried a cab over camper which would explain the bed bottom I made an offer and next thing you know now I have another to add to my collection . Thanks For looking , whats it worth in your opinion?

Re: Original 31000 original 71 cheyenne

It's really not worth anything.....but since it's Fathers Day, I'm going to let you out of your mistake for $2,000!!!

hahaha

Value is what it's worth to you. Right now is not a good time for cars or trucks but it's a sweeeeeeet ride. I bought my Mustand Fastback you see in my signature from a 70ish year old lady one year ago so I know what it's like to see them signing the title and hoping you don't crap your pants on their nice carpet!!!!

Nice score man, but I think I would repaint the driver's side. I couldn't handle driving a pink truck! j/k Looks good man!
