Re: dads 71 family owned since new
That's a sweet truck and a great story to go with it!
It's really difficult for people to fathom how detailed and clean that pickup is without seeing it in person. |

Re: dads 71 family owned since new
Thanks for the compliments guys. Dad will turn 80 on july 4 he is the oldest of 2 other brothers that are no longer with us he gets around great he is still hopping off of tail gates off the back of trucks I told him dad your almost 80 your not supposed to be doing that ,he says I feel 16. he is an old drag racer used to drag a 58 chevy 348 tri power set up he would take the whole family to the local drag strip in the 58- 4 door in the 60's& early 70's . on the way to the strip if some body tried to pass the race was on , it wouldnt happen . Did I mention he was an ole gear head, the last 10 years or so he had this blue truck before I bought it he had a tri power set up off of a 69 or so corvette big block sitting on top of this 402. He wants to do a show thats pretty big this year we are takin the truck to Columbus for goodguys hope to see some of you there. Thanks again for compliments.

Re: dads 71 family owned since new
That truck is B A UTIFUL!!!...no doubt! It ain`t no truck,that`s a masterpiece.I can see why it took 15 years.That was quick!
Your dad`s one to admire for his spunk. He`s 5 years younger than my dad...exactly.He was another firecracker born on the 4th.Unfortunately diabetes took him.Good luck at Columbus.
