Weekend in bed...

Ok, well not what you're thinking........

While living in the hot Arizona has some wonderful benefits come November, I've found the climate to be quite destructive to the wood bed in my truck. As I was sitting there one night, getting ready to replace it for the 3d time, I realized that I wanted to go ahead and convert back to a steel floor. A couple of months ago, I ran across this on craigslist, and it fit the bill...

I went out to check on it, and while the bed was ok, the sides were in worse shape than mine. Granted, with mine, the PO had saddle tanks in the bed (old Texas ranch truck). On the camping trips up in the cold country, these would always get stuffed with socks to keep the draft out of the bed of the truck.

Moving along, I've spent some time tearing everything apart, and finally go to put everything back together this weekend, over at my buddy Taz's house. (His '68 Bronco as well, since you guys are picture whores.)

Next stop, full reassembly, paint and rhino lining....

Re: Weekend in bed...

Do you rhino line the beds parts all seperate or the whole bed at once?

Re: Weekend in bed...

Well, I've got a little bit to go, but I'm going to have the bed fully assembled before I have the liner done.
