Why 2 temp senders?
I have a '78 C10 w/250 six. I have '2' temp senders using the same wire.....WHY? Thanks

Is it factory like that, or did someone add the extra one? Where do they go?
On my Charger, I have 2 temp sensors because I use the original gauge in the dash and an aftermarket on a cluster under the dash mainly because I didn't have another plug handy to put in place of it in the water pump housing.

Usually when there are mutiple temperature sensors, one goes to the gauge (or idiot light) and the other is a control switch for the vacuum advance. But on an '82 the switch should just be vacuum lines in and out, there is nothing electrical about it.

ahhaha My inline also has two sensor's...
I disconeccted them both and put in a mechanical temp gauge. I have pictures somewhere...
