Exclamation Paint & Wheels

Well I had my body shop go ahead and test paint a color I picked out on the inner fenders for my '67 truck.

So what do you think?

Nice color?

Also he has a set of 16" Tires and wheels he want to sell me.

Not the best photos but it gives you an idea.

Are they worth the $600 he is asking?

Thanks guys for looking.

Re: Paint & Wheels

I really like that style of a wheel. if the tires are good I would think they are worth that for sure. that pic wasn't up when I posted haha.

Re: Paint & Wheels

The wheels are worth the $600, but with that paint color I am seeing at least an 18" wheel, preferably a 20"

Re: Paint & Wheels

Yeah I was wanting to do 18s all the way around it but for the price of these tires and wheel I can't go wrong.

I will have a 2/3" drop, I know its not much in the back but I can alway go lower if I want to in the future.

I think you should go for it. the color is *****en and for 600 you cant go wrong. drive it until the tires are bad and then get what you want.

Re: Paint & Wheels

C-20 the color looks the same as my truck. Its hard to pass up the deal on the wheels. I had the same kind of deal on the 18"ers I have. I have some pics of my truck after I got it painted last month on this page http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...191687&page=72.

Re: Paint & Wheels

Paint looks great, Wheels are a litte too common for me, that means they are VERY popular, I just like to be the oddball whenever possible, you really can't go wrong for 600.00 though if the tires are good, you will have close to that in tires if you bought them alone, so think of the wheels as almost free.

Yeah I was suprised how good the color looks once it was applied to some sheetmetal. It's actually a Lambo orange color that cost less than $45 a quart. So it's not bad deal, and it will be orange with a white stripe in the center for that classic look.

I can't wait!!!!

Yeah I was thinking about that as well. But will have to wait and see what it looks like on my 2/3 drop.
