Rear Coil Springs
Will a 3/4 ton rear coil spring fit in a 1/2 ton truck?
I put a set of CPP 4" dropped springs in my 1/2 ton and they are way to "soggy". I'm thinking about putting a 3/4 ton 4" dropped spring in to make it stiff. I had a set of heavy duty standard height springs in there before the drop and the coil material was massive in comparison to the CPP stuff. I still have the heavy duty BB stock height springs in the front with dropped spindles. |

Re: Rear Coil Springs
Was this such a stupid question that no one wants to answer?
I don't really see why it wouldn't work but since I'm not real sure I thought I would ask before I spent another 100 bucks on something that won't work. |

Re: Rear Coil Springs
I would just call and ask, I believe the springs will fit but I would make sure they are indeed stiffer or larger diameter wire. If they are a drop spring they may think you wont be hauling anything so they are indeed the same parts?
good luck Dave
