I got the rearend cleaned up and painted it today

now I think I'm gonna send the entire frame out to be blasted and powder coated eventually. still alot of other things left to clean and paint though

let me know what yall think

Nice. How did you prep it and what did you use for paint?

wire wheel, then degreased it with diluted simple green. finally wiped it down with alcohol and then primed with a high build primer. paint is a Dupont bc/cc setup

oh yeah and with the simple green solution i used a red scuffing pad

How many layers of paint? Looks like you dipped it in and let it drip dry. It looks great!

I have been thinking about stripping the frame/blasting and painting it also, but I'm really leaning towards powder coating.

on the rearend I used 2 base & 2 clear coats. I wish I would have taking before pics that thing was nasty!

well late last night i sprayed the lower shock/arm mounts

also just sprayed the spring retainers about 10mins ago but havent taken pics yet
