looks worse than the late model stepside beds.
As long as the owner likes it.

Thats...different. It must have been hiding on one of the side streets.

Re: Unusual truck at the Pismo Car Show

The dually bed pro street was something that came into vogue shortly in the mid to late 80's as a quick cheap prostreet ride
Works better on some trucks than others

Re: Unusual truck at the Pismo Car Show

I think that if the yellow truck would get rid of the body line right about the steps, it would make it flow a whole lot better. My opinion. But I'm partial.

Re: Unusual truck at the Pismo Car Show

Refurring to the yellow truck.

I will say this, its one of the better looking bed swaps Ive seen and the owner looks like hes proud of it to so Kudos to him for that.

That being said I have a right to my own opinion and Im just a little "OLD SCHOOL" and a lover of the original trucks body lines.

Anything you do to take away from those lines to me is tantamount to sleaghing the truck in my opinion.
But hey Ide rather spend and extra grand beefing up a 12 bolt rearend to handle large amounts of HP than have a Ford 9 inch cuz at least Ide never have to admit a ford is pushing my chevy.

But to each his or her own.

P.S theres a guy with a 69 C-10 here in my town with a 1980's ford fleetside bed on his truck , an older guy but I asked him if I gave him the original bed that came on his year truck for FREE if hed want it and he said no.
Thats his choice but thats one truck if I see broke down along side the road I wont be stopping to help....thats bad..I know but I gotta be me sometimes.
