Need some help in the Sacramento, CA area
Well, I don't need help with my own truck, but I will need some support in a couple of weeks.
I'm working on a write-up to do a custom stereo system in our trucks without cutting any sheet metal. I'm also doing this in stages, and on a budget. What I need from someone is a truck to borrow, one weekend at a time so I can do the write-up. The work will be top notch, and there will be alot of pics taken of the truck. It will be parked in a nice neighborhood with a security patrol, dogs in the house, and an attentive home-owner. In return for your generosity, I will not only install the equipment, but I will also pay for 50% of the major equipment (amps, speakers, deck, and sub)involved and 100% of the small parts (wiring kit, kick panels, etc.) Now, my requirements: 1. Truck must be either running or within a 45 minute drive from my house. 2. It must have a completely uncut cab, doors, and interior should be as close to original as possible. 3. I will be doing this in three to four stages, so I will need the truck for 1 or 2 weekends for each stage, but they can be spread out as necessary. 4. You MUST keep the truck in your posession and the interior intact until the install is completely finished, at which time you may do whatever you want with it. This is a great chance for someone to get some great equipment, and a good install for a VERY cheap price, so if you can meet the above requirements, please feel free to post up, PM, email, or call me. Re: Need some help in the Sacramento, CA area
I hope I can find someone who really wants to help out. I know how hard it can be to leave your truck with a stranger, let alone one that is as young as I am, or having someone like me working on it, but I can promise you guys that your truck will be in good hands.
Again, my biggest requirement is a virgin interior. No cut metal at all. The nicer it is the better. I also recieved an email regarding the financial responsibilities involved. I've come up with two options for equipment. One comes out to $675 and the other is $535. This is assuming full retail price is paid for all parts, but know that my costs, are your costs. If I pay $100 for a part that is $200 MSRP you will only pay $50. Get it?

This is a smoking deal for someone to take advantage of. Too bad it's a long commute or I would be all over it..

Re: Need some help in the Sacramento, CA area
There has to be someone on here close by. Looking at AceX's truck I wouldn't hesitate to let him work on mine.
I'm looking forward to the write up also Last edited by Dapper Dan; 06-26-2009 at 05:03 PM. |

If I didn't have the hacked up dash I would make the drive from Lemoore to Sac in a heartbeat! I saw your truck in Fresno last year and it was awesome.
