new from texas!
hey yall, im new from east texas, i recently required a "barn find" 1970 chevy LWB 2wd with a 350 and auto, also AC, heres the story, my great grandfather bought it new, my mom went with him to pick it up, it has alot of history with my family, anyways, he died in 1983, and it hardly got driven, until 1989, when it was parked in a shed and forgotten, until i came along, twenty years later, to resurrect it. here is a few pictures, some from way back before i got it, and some are from today, if you haveany questions, please ask, enjoy....
where it sat for twenty years motor as found after dragging it out of its resting place, and bringing it home, i cleaned it, then put an HEI distributor on it, and running on the original plugs, the beast fired right up! i took it for its first drive in twenty years today, talk about fun! today, after alot of work motor, as of today, runs, kinda... ratty interior lol, but still better than when i got it Also, heres a photochop of my Daily driver, just felt like i should add it, thanks for looking! |

Re: new from texas!
well, a small update, just gor it running pretty good, advanced the timing, took the A.I.R. BS off, but i noticed i have a fuel leak, it looks like a return line, that comes out of the pump, then turns around and goes down the frame, wait, maybe inlet? idk, but it leaks right at the pump...
