May I "HEAR" your motor/exhaust???

I was just reading a post about a guy that just got his motor running and how good it sounded. I was thinking "don't tell me....let me hear it!!!!" I thought it would be great if people could post videos or sound clips of there motors or exhaust. What would be fun and funny is to not only hear the nasty cams but also the piece of craps that needed new mufflers about 10K miles ago. I'll go first and some of you have seen this. It's my 460 when I first fired it 2 years ago. Yeah...I know....little lifter tic but I took care of that when I went full roller rockers. Nothing special. Little comp 280H. What does yours sound like?????

P.S. Gotta really turn up the PC volume!!!!

I just made a topic about this! I just fired my truck with the new engine in it for the first time today. No lopey cam here or mean sounding engine but I'm excited and want to post it every chance I get. Lol.

1970 Gmc I just picked it up yesterday. Put on a new glasspack and short tube cause it was missing one. Ill probably cut the other one tomorrow and do the same to it. Any suggestions would be appreciated doesnt run the best yet and backfires. I changed the plugs today.

I normally don't really care for the sound of a glasspack but if you look at my video of me in the garage doing the burnout, you'll see just the end of my glasspack and the coat hanger looping around the trailing arm and holding it up. This was before my sweet little super 40 exhaust job. It had the longest I think (36") glasspacks they make and it sounded real good. I think the trick to glasspacks is to not run those little 18" ones. Those are the ones that have that annoying rap to them. The long ones give a real deep sound.

Re: May I "HEAR" your motor/exhaust???

Yeah its a temporary fix. I just needed to fix it to get it road worthy. Im thinking about cutting the other one down so they look similar Right now one pipe come out behind the rear wheel and the new one comes out behind the cab.

Re: May I "HEAR" your motor/exhaust???

Heres my 72 short bed with a 454 power plant flowtech headers and Summit 3inch Turbo Mufflers. The mufflers are on it now to keep the noise down, I will Later install QTP Electric cutouts & a Bullet Performance ProTurbo Round Muffler,That are waiting patiently in the garage. It's not a very good video but you can hear a sample of the exhaust. Sounds pretty good for Summit Brand Mufflers.
